Tributes have poured in for a "long-standing" Tranmere Rovers FC steward who has died.
Marc Stebles died recently aged 33, it was announced by the football club today. A spokesperson for Tranmere Rovers posted a statement on the club's Facebook page to announce the devastating news.
They said their "sincere condolences are with their family and friends at this extremely sad time". Tributes have flooded in for the 33-year-old who has been described as a "lovely lad".

One person said: "Can't believe such sad news, lovely lad. I knew him growing up as he lived by me, such a shock, R.I.P Marc thinking of all his family and friends at this sad time." Another person added: "Very sad to hear the news. Will miss working with Marc. Thoughts are with their families."
Marc was also described as "amazing" and a "beautiful soul". On Facebook, one person said: "RIP another beautiful soul taken to heaven far too soon RIP Marc Stebles fly high." Another person added: "I’m in shock - devastated. Thinking off the family of Marc Stebles at this time, such an amazing guy, and some amazing memories growing up."
Paying tribute, a fourth person also said: "R.I.P Marc Stebles. Sending love to all your family." A fifth person added: "Such sad news brilliant person inside and out R.I.P Marc Stebles."
Other people have paid tribute by leaving emojis of hearts and flowers. Tranmere Rovers added that Marc was a long-standing steward at the Prenton Park ground.
