Some trains travelling through Renfrewshire this morning will be limited to just 5mph, following an incident involving rocks falling on the track.
The area affected is between Bishopton and Langbank on the Glasgow to Gourock line.
ScotRail say that trains travelling along this line will be delayed by at least 10 minutes whilst Network Rail engineers visit the site to assess.
A ScotRail spokesperson tweeted: "Rocks have fallen on to the line near Bishopton. Trains are being limited to 5mph through the area while Network Rail Scotland staff investigate the cause.
"This means that services to/from Gourock and Wemyss Bay will be delayed and may be subject to changes."
Network Rail Scotland have been contacted for comment.
