- Trainline has partnered with Domino’s to launch a UK-first delivery service for Lumo train passengers over the Bank Holiday weekend.
- Passengers travelling on select services between London Euston and Stirling can order pizzas in advance to be delivered to their seats at Preston station.
- The trial follows research showing that 57 per cent of UK travellers feel food options on trains and at stations are lacking.
- Bookings must be made by midnight before the journey and are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The move coincides with Domino’s announcing plans to create 5,000 new store and delivery jobs across the UK and Ireland before Christmas.
