Three members of the same family who were the victims of a horrific triple killing in Dublin have been named and pictured.
Eight-year-old twins Chelsea and Christy Cawley, as well as their sister Lisa Cash, 18, were allegedly stabbed to death by a man in his 20s man believed to be known to them at their home in the Tallaght area at around 12.30am on Sunday (September 4).
Witnesses described seeing the twins being thrown out of the top window of their home after they were injured during a heated confrontation with armed gardai [police].

The shocking incident was witnessed by a crowd that had gathered outside the house after being alerted by their 14-year-old brother, who is understood to have escaped before running for help, Dublin Live reports.
Gardai were able to access the house and arrested a man. Detectives are now set to launch a full murder investigation into the tragic deaths. The 14-year-old boy who ran for help also had to be hospitalised – after suffering serious leg injuries.
The children’s mother, who was not in the house at the time of the incident, later arrived at the scene. She was uninjured but went to the hospital with her children. She was later released and gardai said she is being supported by her family.
Post-mortems were due to take place yesterday and today by State Pathologist Dr Sally Anne Collis. Gardaí said they were not looking for anyone else at this time.
A male in his early 20s arrested at the scene continues to be detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Tallaght Garda Station.
A garda spokesperson said on Sunday evening: "Gardaí in Tallaght continue to investigate all the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Lisa Cash Christy and Chelsea Cawley at a residence in Rossfield Estate, Tallaght, on Sunday.
"Their mother, a woman in her 40s, has been released from hospital and is currently being supported by her family. The Family Liaison Officer continues to keep her updated as to the course of this investigation.
Earlier today the Minister for Justice Helen McEntee said: "The killing of three young family members is a tragedy, so awful and heart-breaking. It is difficult to comprehend.
"My thoughts are with the family and the local community as they deal with this unimaginable crime. Gardai and other services are supporting them at this difficult time."
