A tragic couple have died one month apart, leaving behind their two young children. Chris Mills, 42, passed away after suffering from a ruptured stomach ulcer in July and Amie, 30, died just four weeks later after a battle with cancer. Their son, Harry, 8, and daughter, Mia, 6, are now being cared for by Amie's mother Tracey, reports the Mirror.
Now a local shopkeeper, Bal Singh, has created a fundraiser for the children after they lost both parents. It is believed that Chris's funeral was held on August 8 and Amie's on September 12.
Their grandmother, Tracey, said: "I would like to say a huge thank you to all involved who are helping raise money for my grandchildren. We have all had a very hard and tough time as late.
