Police have named a man who tragically died following a serious motorbike crash in Northumberland.
Emergency services were called to a collision involving a motorcycle and a car on the A192 near the Victoria and Albert Inn, on Seaton Terrace in Seaton Delaval at about 6.20pm last Tuesday (September 13). The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries but on Friday (September 16), three days after the collision he sadly passed away.
He has since been named by police as 27-year-old Jack Armstrong, of New Hartley, Blyth. Northumbria Police confirmed that his family are aware and are being supported by specialist family liaison officers at this time. Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
