A family have spoken of their heartbreak after the loving dad of a carer who died after falling from a nightclub fire escape passed away just hours after her funeral.
Katie Davenport, 23, sadly fell to her death after having an 'altercation' with work colleagues at a nightclub in Southport. On Wednesday (March 8), an inquest heard how a door supervisor could only watch as she jumped from the balcony at around 2am on Sunday, September 4 last year.
The 'beautiful' 23-year-old incurred traumatic brain injuries from the incident, and died 13 days later in hospital with her boyfriend Niall by her side. Tragically, her father passed away after suffering an epileptic fit just hours after her funeral service on October 14, reports the Liverpool Echo.
