An 18-year-old woman who was left fighting for her life after a crash on a Leeds road known as the "mad mile" has sadly died.
West Yorkshire Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the crash on the A63 Selby Road on Wednesday, August 31.
Emergency Services were called to the A63, Selby Road, Swillington Common, shortly after 6.41pm to reports of a serious crash involving a white BMW M3 and a red SEAT Mii, which the 18-year-old was a passenger in.

The road is often called 'mad mile' because of the speed of some drivers who use the road.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "The white BMW had travelled from Crossgates and was heading in the direction of Garforth when the collision occurred.
"The occupants of the SEAT Mii suffered serious injuries and sadly the 18-year-old, who was taken to hospital by air ambulance, died yesterday as a result of her injuries."
