NEW DELHI: New day, but same old story for Pakistan as their openers Mohammad Rizwan and Saim Ayub, who replaced Iftikhar Ahmed, faced a challenging start against Canada's pace attack, struggling to find their footing in chase of 107 during the T20 World Cup at the Nassau County International Stadium in New York on Tuesday.
The Canadian bowlers, exploiting early movement and bounce, kept the pressure on from the outset. Accurate line and length deliveries troubled the batsmen, resulting in a cautious and defensive approach.
