Tottenham midfielder Callum Olusesi is set to leave the club on loan before the end of the January transfer window.

Standard Sport understands that Olusesi is attracting interest from clubs in Italy, Germany and Holland, with Hoffenheim and PSV Eindhoven both having had £6million bids rejected for the 18-year-old midfielder.

Torino have also been linked with a move to sign Olusesi on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Spurs do not want to let Olusesi, who signed a long-term contract with the club in April, leave on a permanent deal, but would be open to letting him move on loan.

Olusesi is keen to play regular first-team football, but while his preference is to move abroad, Spurs would prefer him to stay in England, with several Championship clubs interested in a loan deal.

The England youth international made his professional debut away against Hoffenheim in the Europa League in January last year and has been named on the bench by Thomas Frank in the Premier League and the Champions League this season.

Olusesi, who was part of the side that won the Under-17 and Under-18 Premier League Cup double in 2022-23, is captain of Spurs’ Under-21s team and is regarded as one of the brightest talents to come through the club’s academy in recent years.

He travelled with the first team and was named on the bench as Spurs sealed their place in the Champions League round of 16 with a comfortable 2-0 victory away to Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday night.
