Tottenham have made the battle for a top four spot more difficult, after their 3-2 defeat to Man United on Saturday night.
Spurs managed to make a comeback twice in the game, with equalising goals in the 35th and 72nd minute, but it wasn't enough to stop Cristiano Ronaldo's hat-trick, bagging his side all three points.
Antonio Conte's side remain in seventh place and although they are only five points behind The Red Devils with two games in hand, it will be a difficult turnaround to secure a Champions League spot.
Tottenham's inconsistency has handed them an extra struggle in the battle for fourth spot, which is something the Italian reiterated in his post match press conference.
"We have to be stable, to be stable and to keep good results in every moment," Conte admitted. "Instead we are doing up and down, up and down.
"I want to push my players, because our ambition has to be to stay very close to the top four."
With all that being said, football.london takes a look at Spurs' next six Premier League fixtures compared to their top four rivals.
Tottenham's next six Premier League fixtures
Brighton (A) - March 16
It's taken three months for the scheduled game to be rearranged but Spurs will finally face Graham Potter's side for the first time this season, on Wednesday.
The Seagulls go into the fixture with the same amount of rest as Conte's side, after a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday, but have produced some decent performances this season so it won't be an easy tie.
West Ham (H) - March 20
Another short rest before Spurs welcome West Ham to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the second time this season, with the first ending in a win for the home side in the Carabao Cup.
It will be another big game for the two sides, not only because it's a London derby but because the teams are both level on points, with the Lilywhites having a game in hand.
When Spurs travelled to the London Stadium they had to deal with a 1-0 defeat and they won't want to make it two losses, in the league, in a row.
Newcastle United (H) - April 3
Tottenham will return after the international break with another home tie, as they host Newcastle.
The first clash between the two sides this season ended in a 3-2 victory for a then Nuno Espirito Santo side and the three points didn't come easily, so it will be another game Spurs have to be prepared for a battle in.
Aston Villa (A) - April 9
The Lilywhites played Aston Villa before their Newcastle tie earlier in the season and will now play them after, hoping for two wins in two this season.
Steven Gerrard's side are currently ninth in the league and although nine points behind Tottenham, have lost just three less games than Conte's side.
Brighton (H) - April 16
After their midweek away tie just a month before, Tottenham will welcome Brighton to north London in the second game between the two teams.
As the end of the season edges closer, it is likely to be another match where three points could help Spurs finish the season in the strongest position possible.
Playing Potter's side a month after the first match could work in Conte's favour as, depending on the result of the first tie, the Lilywhites can either stick with the same game plan or alter it accordingly.
Brentford (A) - April 23
A special game this will be as Tottenham fans will get to see Christian Eriksen play live, for the first time since his arrival back in the Premier League.
A great occasion but Spurs will be hoping to get all three points out of Thomas Frank's side, who are currently nine points off the relegation zone.
