Tottenham 'reject' final Bayern Munich offer for Harry Kane

Tottenham have rejected Bayern Munich's final offer for Harry Kane.

According to Sky in Germany, Spurs have rejected the Bundesliga champions' latest bid, which is said to be their last.

The 30-year-old frontman was due to be discussed at a meeting of Bayern's executives today as they continue their pursuit of the Spurs and England captain.

They were still awaiting a response from Tottenham over their 'final' offer for the elite striker.

It's said that the bid was worth north of £80million, including add-ons. Bayern felt they compromised with their bid, with Spurs and the German giants seemingly around £20m apart in their valuation of the player.

But it seems with Spurs knocking the offer back that Bayern will now move on to other targets ahead of the close of the summer transfer window.

Kane is out of contract next summer and it's been previously reported that he will not sign another.

Spurs do risk losing him for free in less than 12 months if he is not sold in this window.

This report states that Kane wants his future sorted this week before Spurs' Premier League opener away at Brentford.

One of the reasons Kane wants his future sorted out now is for personal reasons, as his wife is due to give birth.

Kane scored four goals in Spurs' 5-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in a friendly yesterday.

He netted on 30 occasions in the EPL last term in what was ultimately a disappointing season in North London.

Overall, he has scored 280 goals in 435 appearances for the club.

Ange Postecoglou has made no secret of his desire to keep Kane at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the season ahead.
