Kompany message

When asked for his take on the rumours linking him with the likes of Chelsea and Spurs, Vincent Kompany told talkSPORT: "The only thing I see it as is a wasted question. I always feel sorry for the journalist that is asking me the question because you are getting nothing.

"I don’t want to talk about anything else," he added. "I’m not engaging on any of these conversations. I have too much at this moment in time in my head in terms of wanting to win football matches - that’s the only thing I care about."

Carragher doesn't hold back!

Jamie Carragher didn't hold back on social media when he saw Newcastle go five-up against Tottenham at the weekend. The former Liverpool defender demanded that Spurs sack Stellini – and his wish finally came true.

"Newcastle are brilliant, they have been all season," Carragher tweeted. "Tottenham are a disgrace! How have they gone to a back four for the first time this season, with Porro a full back that can’t defend & Perisic who is a winger. Get a proper manager in right now, not Conte’s mate."
