Tottenham join Darwin Nunez race
Tottenham have joined a plethora of clubs chasing the signature of Benfica striker Darwin Nunez, according to A Bola, via Sport Witness. The 22-year-old has managed to impress a number of suitors, including North London rivals Arsenal, with his latest strike against Liverpool in the Champions League continuing his meteoric rise.
He may not come cheap though, as the report claims Benfica are constantly increasing his valuation, setting it as high as a potential €100million (£83million) move. Whether Spurs could afford to make that move remains to be seen.

Christian Eriksen admission
Former Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen has been linked with a move back to Spurs this summer, which would also see him reunite with his former Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte. The Dane has been thriving on his return to the Premier League with Brentford, after almost a year without playing following his cardiac arrest during Euro 2020.
With Eriksen’s deal expiring at the end of the season, Conte’s previous admission on the midfielder could come true in the coming months. Back in January he said: “For sure, Eriksen is part of Tottenham's story. To come back here would be a good opportunity for him, for me, for the club, but now he's signed for Brentford, only six months, and we'll see what happens.”

The 22-year-old has missed two months of action since suffering the injury, clouding over an otherwise impressive breakthrough season for the academy graduate.
Discussing the midfielder in his pre-match press conference, Conte said: “About Olly Skipp, we have to wait. He's not ready. He's still not ready and we need to have patience with him to try to solve his problem”
