Spurs are ready to rival Manchester United for the transfer of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The talented Lazio midfielder has been well-sought after in recent transfer windows and has admirers in north London as the club look to back manager Antonio Conte in the summer. Thought it seems there is a condition that has to be met for a deal to go ahead.

Kane future update
Harry Kane looks set to turn down a summer move to Manchester United.
Kane has long been a target for not only United but Man City and was part of a drawn-out transfer saga last summer which ultimately saw him stay in north London. Speculation has mounted that United are keen to make the England captain their big-money signing at the end of the season but that appears to be off with Kane ready to stay at Spurs.
Kane could be playing UEFA Champions League football if he sticks with Tottenham with the club currently fourth in the Premier League.
Spurs eye Lazio star
Tottenham are ready to enter a bidding war to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Lazio midfielder has attracted attention from Premier League clubs including Manchester United, who are set to try and bring him to Old Trafford at the end of the season according to reports in Italy. And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, via lalaziosiamonoi, Spurs manager Antonio Conte and sporting director Fabio Paratici are huge fans.
The 27-year-old is reportedly allowed to leave for around £65million.
Conte breaks silence on Covid
Antonio Conte's preparation for this weekend's Premier League fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion has been disrupted by Covid.
The Italian manager tested positive earlier in the week but has since returned to training, if only to watch on from a distance. The former Chelsea boss believes he will be able to manage from the dugout on Saturday having made a recovery from what he described as 'mild symptoms.'
The Spurs boss also addressed the impact Matt Doherty's absence will have on the team.
