Rooney identifies Spurs' advantage

Wayne Rooney has identified a big advantage Tottenham Hotspur have in the race to finish in the Premier League's top four and qualify for next season's Champions League.

Spurs currently sit in fourth place following their 5-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday, with Arsenal falling to a 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday night. Mikel Arteta's side still have a game in hand on their local rivals, although football.london reports that Rooney believes the lack of experience within the Arsenal squad could hurt their chances of finishing in the top four.

According to Rooney, Spurs "are a little bit more experienced and that might help Tottenham get over the line".

Carter-Vickers bagged the winner to extend Celtic's lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to six points as fans dream of clinching the league title.

And according to football.london, the loan agreement has a clause to make his move permanent for around £6million, although that fee could reportedly rise to £10m with add-ons.
