Djed Spence is an exciting prospect for Tottenham. The youngster made 42 Championship appearances last season and made seven goal contributions, with most of his features coming during his loan spell with Nottingham Forest, where he helped Steve Cooper's side gain promotion.
Spence made his debut for Tottenham, during their pre-season debut against Rangers, getting just under 20 minutes on the pitch. With both his attacking and defensive qualities, the 22-year-old is the perfect mould for a right wing-back for Antonio Conte.
There is now a lot of competition for game time on the right flank, with both Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty remaining in N17 at the moment. Ahead of Spurs' first game of the season, Conte was asked about keeping all three wing-back options happy and spoke about Spence.
