Real Madrid's summer transfer business is under way. Los Blancos have completed a deal to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund for a fee that could rise to £115million with add-ons.
Englishman Bellingham will make the move to the Santiago Bernabeu after three seasons in the Bundesliga with Dortmund. He was a revelation this season, scoring 14 goals and laying on seven assists in 42 appearances for BVB.
He also starred in England's run to the World Cup quarter-finals, scoring his first international goal in the 6-2 group game win over Iran. The initial fee of £88.5million makes him the second most expensive English player after Jack Grealish and he becomes Real's second most expensive signing after Eden Hazard.
The protracted transfer saga's end now means Real can focus their attentions elsewhere, with a new striker the top priority. Karim Benzema left the club after 14 years to make the move to Saudi Arabia, leaving a gaping hole in the forward line of Carlo Ancelotti's side.
Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been a mooted target, but news that Kylian Mbappe will not sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain after his deal ends next summer has piqued interest, with Madrid set to test the waters with a bid.
PSG will more than likely want to get a fee for the France superstar, rather than losing him for free next summer and could listen to offers for the 24-year-old.

That would play into Tottenham's hands, although Real Madrid's interest in the England skipper is understood to have cooled in recent days. And according to Spanish sports radio station Cope, Kane is no longer an option.
Cope and Real Madrid TV presenter Melchor Ruiz tweeted: "Real Madrid is not going to make any offer this summer to Kylian Mbappe because it knows that Kylian wants to complete his remaining year at PSG.
"And they are not going to sign Harry Kane either."
