Hugo Lloris
Couldn't do much about Colak's point blank stab home. Almost messed up with a loose bit of control on 36 minutes and ended up toe poke it to a Rangers players but they were challenged. 5
Cristian Romero
Defended well against Kent after the Rangers man broke into the box 10 minutes in. Headed over from point blank range before the half-hour mark, although the ball came at him very quickly. Made another good tackle late in the half but Colak did find space in his section of the box to score. 6
Eric Dier
Some sloppy moments in the first half. Sent a powerful drive at goal just after the half hour mark that the keeper parried out. 5

Davinson Sanchez
Still playing in the unfamiliar left-sided role. Dealt well with Matonda after he appeared to have lost him down the flank. 6
Emerson Royal
Defended well on the whole but another half of football in which attacks consistently broke down when he got the ball in advanced positions down the right, including one late chance before the interval. He's just not a wing-back. 4
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
The Dane was guilty of a big miss on 25 minutes, just moments after Colak's goal, as he fired wide when running into the box on to Son's pass. 5
Rodrigo Bentancur
Broke well just before the break to tee up a chance for Emerson which resulted in nothing. Put in some strong tackles in the centre of the pitch. 6
Ryan Sessegnon
Sent in a good low cross that Son could have done better with and had a couple of opportunities to get down the flank. At the other end, he couldn't stop Matondo's low cross getting into the box in the build-up to Rangers' first half goal. 6
Dejan Kulusevski
Sent clear by Kane five minutes in before playing a one-two with Son before testing McGregor with a shot. Forced the keeper into an acrobatic save before the half-hour mark. One of Spurs' most dangerous players in the first half as he tried to make things happen. 7
Harry Kane
Two excellent first-time passes in the opening minutes, putting Sessegnon and Kulusevski into good positions and later did the same to send Son away for Hojbjerg's big chance. Had his own opportunity when played through by Son but he was denied by the keeper. 7
Son Heung-min
Could have done better with Sessegnon's early low cross and then put Kulusevski into a shooting position soon after. Teed up Hojbjerg for what should have been a certain goal just after the hosts had scored. Later he played Kane through for another big chance. Sliced over an effort before the break. 6
