Tottenham have had an offer accepted by Isthmian League club Lewes for their winger Ollie Tanner.
That's according to a report from The Athletic, who say that Spurs are interested in bringing the 19-year-old attacker back to north London, after the teenager's spell in Arsenal's academy system.
Tanner has just 18 months remaining on his contract with Lewes after signing from Bromley in the summer of last year.
An offer has reportedly been accepted, but there is no indication just yet of exactly how much Tottenham will be handing the non-League club for their star player.
The news comes just hours after reports claiming Liverpool were closing in on the signing of Spurs target Luis Diaz.
Diaz held talks with Tottenham earlier in the week, but his preference is said to be a move to Anfield instead and that now looks all set to go ahead in the coming days.
Antonio Conte has made his feelings on potential incomings perfectly clear, with the Spurs boss insisting they need additions in order to compete with the top clubs in the Premier League.
However, he has often spoke about the complications of the mid-season transfer window and he is unsure how many players the club will be able to bring in this month.
Conte said: "I don't know (if they can bring at least one player to Tottenham). I know that the transfer window in January is always very difficult and it is more simple when you start the season to buy important players.
"In January it is not easy, but at the same time we know very well that if there is the opportunity and also if it's not the best opportunity, but we need to do something.
"Also, if I repeat that this could not be the best opportunity but I think that we are in a situation where we have to try and implement the squad because the squad is not so big."
