Former Everton director of football Marcel Brands has claimed that Richarlison could be playing for either Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich "as early as tomorrow". Coming to the attention of Brands when the attacker was starting out and playing in his homeland, the Dutchman wanted to lure Richarlison to PSV but they could not afford his transfer fee.
Eventually getting his man in the summer of 2018 as Everton purchased him from Watford, the 25-year-old became a key member of the Toffees side and contributed with some big moments in the final third. His stay at Goodison Park eventually came to an end at the start of July, with Tottenham paying £60million for his services as Antonio Conte strengthened his squad.
Richarlison has made a big impression in his short time in north London, notably netting both goals in Tottenham's 2-0 win over Marseille on his Champions League debut. Currently starring on the international stage for Brazil, Brands has hailed his former signing and stated that he could easily go and play for one of Europe's top clubs.

“He has everything to be a top striker. He has length, speed, he is agile, can play in all positions in attack and is technically good. He can head exceptionally well, has tremendous jumping power and excellent timing in the air. He is also someone who works very hard for the team and still gets his return," Brands told NOS (via Sport Witness).
“Every goal he celebrates like it’s the winning one in the World Cup final, you see that at Tottenham too. That’s why he plays matches, to score goals. People often forget, but he works really hard. He is everything you want in a striker.
“He has become a man as a young player. He was already physically strong but has become much stronger and his will to score has developed even further. He could be playing at Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich as early as tomorrow."
