Topless Ryanair passenger escorted off Edinburgh flight after rammy mid-air

A man was escorted off a Scots Ryanair flight by police after he became aggressive mid-flight.

The plane had flown from Edinburgh Airport to Malta International Airport on Saturday May 28 and was met by officers upon landing.

Videos shared on social media shows a topless man shouting at other passengers in the aisle.

In one clip, the man was heard shouting: "You want it, who wants it, I've got five, five of you, who wants it then."

Cabin crew tried to calm the man down, asking him to stop his threatening behaviour.

Ryanair confirmed that a man had been escorted off the flight after landing.

A Ryanair spokesperson said: “The crew of this flight from Edinburgh to Malta (28 May) called ahead for police assistance on arrival after a passenger became disruptive inflight.

"The aircraft landed normally, and police removed this passenger before the remainder of the passengers safely disembarked the aircraft.”

There were no reported injuries during the incident.
