Top Scottish curler Eve Muirhead announces retirement in moving statement

TOP Scottish curler Eve Muirhead has announced that she is retiring from the sport in what is “the hardest decision of my life”.

The Perthshire skip, aged 32, made the decision months after winning Team GB’s only gold medal at Beijing's 2022 Winter Olympics along with her teammates.
