Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche is set to sit down with women who were abused by the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the Justice Department said Thursday, after outgoing Republican Senator Thom Tillis threatened to block his nomination to formally run the department.
In a statement to The Independent, a DOJ spokesperson said that Blanche “was able to rearrange his schedule” and offered to meet with Epstein victims in the Capitol, “as everyone was in the same location.”
