Top attraction offers chance for chocolate lovers to share their passion with visitors – and get paid

A visitor attraction is looking for a 'chocolate demonstrator' as part of a recruitment drive for a number of roles. Cadbury World, a favourite with chocolate aficionados, is casting the net far and wide for new staff as it gears up for a busy summer period.

The right person will have a "passion for chocolate" and be required to provide interactive demonstrations to a crowd. They will also be meeting and greeting customers, as well as promoting and selling treats made in the production area.

The role, based at the Birmingham site, is a fixed term part-time contract until December 2022, and you will be part of a chocolate demonstrator team. The ideal candidate will also be confident with presenting, demonstrating and public speaking, reports Birmingham Live.

If bringing the magic of Cadbury alive sounds appealing, and you're a chocolate lover, this could be a dream role. The job description reads: "You will act as the first point of contact for all visitor enquires and serve as ambassador for the business with a good level of knowledge in all areas of the attraction, taking the opportunities to upsell products and services.

"You will deliver information to visitors through presentations and demonstrations, and offer and provide visitors with accurate advice, guidance and information about the attraction. You will have excellent social interaction and communication skills and experience working with members of the public."

Cadbury is owned by Mondelez International (originally Kraft Foods), and its much-loved home in Bourneville, Birmingham, gets more than 500,000 visitors every year. The attraction currently has a number of openings for the beginning of June to end of August to support them during the summer period.
