Mark Fotheringham says he'll have full respect when meeting Celtic trendsetter Tony Mowbray this week.
The former Parkhead boss is credited with bringing the iconic huddle to the club during his time as a player, but his managerial stint didn't provide the same impact. Mowbray is now managing at English Championship side Sunderland, who meet with Huddersfield Town on Wednesday, managed by another former Hoops man in Fotheringham.
His career as a player started at Celtic but he has found more success after hanging up his boots, the former midfielder now in a senior position in England's second tier following time in Germany. Fotheringham's team are looking for back-to-back victories after beating Hull on Saturday and his counterparts impact in Glasgow leaves him filled with admiration. He said: "Sunderland are a very dangerous team, they have got many offensive players that can hurt us on the day.
