Renowned Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee recently shared a heartwarming update with his fans, expressing gratitude for a successful hand surgery that has allowed him to twirl his drumsticks once again. The 61-year-old musician revealed on Instagram that he underwent the procedure three weeks ago to address debilitating hand issues that were impacting his ability to perform.
Among the issues that Lee faced were Dupuytren's contracture and carpal tunnel syndrome. Dupuytren's contracture involves a thickening and tightening of tissue in the hand, causing the fingers to pull forward. Lee underwent surgery with Dr. Glenn Cohen, who successfully addressed these issues, giving the drummer a new lease on life.
