Tommy Fury given Tyron Woodley decision after Jake Paul proposal

Tyron Woodley has confirmed he is willing to face-off against Tommy Fury in the ring, following a proposal made by Jake Paul.

Fury was due to face-off against Paul in December but withdrew from the bout due to injury, with Woodley instead taking his slot on the card.

That acted as the rematch from Woodley's clash with Paul earlier in the year but he still suffered defeat, with Paul winning via knockout.

Ever since then, Fury has been pushing for his fight with Paul to be rescheduled but the American fighter has rebuffed his advances.

Instead, it was proposed by Paul's promotional company Most Valuable Promotions that Woodley and Fury battle on the undercard of Tyson Fury's world title defence against Dillian Whyte at Wembley in April.

Tommy Fury has already stated he's looking to get a 'run-out' on that card, having last taken to the ring last summer.

And Woodley has now responded to the idea of a fight on the Wembley card, writing on his Instagram story: 'I'm with it'.

That could pave the way for Fury to finally get his bout against Paul, should he emerge victorious against Woodley in the proposed fight.

However, Paul has continued to be coy on the potential of facing-off against Fury at any point - repeatedly stating he has missed his chance.

While he's likely to return to the ring himself, he's currently focused on promoting the world-title fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano at Madison Square Garden in April.
