Tom Holland to Star as Romeo in New West End Production

Tom Holland looks happy.

British actor Tom Holland, best known for his role as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is set to take on a classic role in a new stage production. The 27-year-old actor will portray the iconic character of Romeo in a fresh interpretation of William Shakespeare's timeless tragedy, Romeo and Juliet.

Directed by Jamie Lloyd, this production promises to offer a pulsating and contemporary take on the love story of the star-crossed lovers. With a tagline that reads, 'Violent delights have violent ends,' audiences can anticipate a gripping and intense experience. The show is scheduled for a strictly limited 12-week run starting in May 2024 at London's prestigious Duke of York's Theatre, located in the vibrant West End district.
