Tom Holland has confirmed he has married Zendaya, saying he has "found my person" and is “the happiest I've ever been”.
The Spider-Man star, 30, responded to the reports during a new interview with Esquire UK, ending months of speculation over whether the Hollywood pair had secretly tied the knot.
Asked whether any family members had believed viral AI-generated "wedding" images circulating on Instagram and TikTok were real, Holland replied: “No, because they were all there... That's all you'll get on that.”
Rumours first gathered pace in February when Zendaya's longtime stylist, Law Roach, appeared to let slip at the 2026 Actors Awards in Los Angeles that the pair had already wed.
“The wedding has already happened. You missed it!” he said at the time, although neither Holland nor Zendaya commented publicly.
The actress first fuelled engagement speculation after debuting a diamond ring by London jeweller Jessica McCormack at the 2025 Golden Globes.
Reflecting on their life together, Holland spoke warmly about the support he finds in their relationship.
“Our business can present very stressful situations, and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he told the outlet.
“We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it's like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.
“So, for me, I found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I have ever been when I'm with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe. Ever. Period.”
Holland also recalled meeting Zendaya during auditions for Spider-Man: Homecoming, revealing he knew immediately she was destined to land the role of MJ.
“Obviously, I was super excited at the prospect of working with her and getting to know her,” he said.
“She smashed her audition out the park and got the part before she'd even left the room. I remember when she closed the door to leave, Amy Pascal was immediately like, 'Well, she's getting the job.'”
The pair first met while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and have kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight ever since.
Earlier this week they made a rare joint public appearance at the Madrid photocall for Spider-Man: Brand New Day — their first together in five years.
Holland previously explained why they rarely walk red carpets together, telling Men's Health: “It's not my moment, it's her moment, and if we go together, it's about us.”
Fans can expect to see much more of the couple on screen over the coming year.
As well as reprising their roles as Peter Parker and MJ in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, they also star together in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, which is released next month.
