Tom Brady might have seven Super Bowl rings and three MVP awards, but he’s 0-1 when it comes to beach football in the Hamptons.
Meanwhile, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud is undefeated against the G.O.A.T., even if there wasn’t a pass rush coming his way.
Stroud’s pickup team defeated Brady’s roster in a game of touch football before billionaire Michael Rubin’s July 4th party at his mansion Thursday evening. Among those in attendance were Brady’s ex-teammate Rob Gronkowski, Dallas Cowboys defensive end Micah Parsons, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, Miami Dolphins receiver Odell Beckham Jr., YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul, as well as musicians Travis Scott and Quavo, plus others.

Brady and Stroud picked teams before the annual white party began, with Gronk reuniting with former New England and Tampa Bay teammate. Rubin posted a video to his X account of Hamlin — a member of Stroud’s squad —intercepting Brady for a game-winning pick-six.
“Pre White Party mini camp… getting our reps in and our body right 😂 let’s go,” the entrepreneur captioned the post.
While Stroud didn’t talk smack to the former superstar, Parsons wasn’t afraid to call out his teammate for the ill-advised throw that cost them the game.
“C’mon, Tom!” an empathic Parsons said. “What’s going on here?”
Stroud, who won Offensive Rookie of the Year after helping Houston return to the postseason for the first time since 2019, has been the talk of the offseason. He’s made trips to Asia, Morroco and France between workouts and mandatory OTAs back in Houston, but has made sure to run drills and throw during stops on each continent.
Brady, a fellow California native, won’t be strapping up anytime soon, but he will be suiting up and heading to the broadcast booth this season with Fox’s top NFL broadcast team as an analyst. The 46-year-old made his TV debut earlier this offseason by calling the UFL Championship.
Who knows? Maybe Stroud picked up a few things during the game that will translate to the field this fall. And yes, expect Brady to reference it if he’s calling the game.
