Tom Brady hints at retirement U-turn just days after announcing end of 22-year career

Tom Brady may have officially announced his retirement from the NFL – but that doesn't mean his career as an American football player is over for good just yet.

After a few days of intense speculation, the 44-year-old announced last week that he had brought his 22-year career in the NFL to an end.

Much of that was spent with the New England Patriots, the team he joined after being picked in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.
