Tom Brady was in attendance for the Patriots’ home opener at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, as the organization intends to honor him during a ceremony at halftime.
After Hunter Henry caught New England’s first touchdown of the year during the second quarter, Robert Kraft and Brady enjoyed a heartwarming exchange that had Patriots fans feeling nostalgic.
Kraft and Brady were delighted to see the team get on the scoreboard. The franchise’s legendary quarterback grabbed Kraft’s hand and brought him in for a quick hug.
The Eagles jumped out to an early 16-0 lead against the Patriots, but Mac Jones connected with Henry on a nine-yard pass in the second quarter to keep New England in the game.
