Todd Cantwell has incredibly stated that he believes Celtic 'didn't win' the Old Firm derby but that Rangers lost it.
The Englishman was part of a Michael Beale side that fell to a 3-2 defeat at Celtic Park in a result that all-but seals the title for Ange Postecoglou's men who go twelve points clear. Cantwell started and found the derby difficult by all accounts, after featuring previously against Celtic in the Viaplay Cup final.
The 25-year-old took to social media, however, to claim the game was Rangers' to lose. He aimed at a dig at the Scottish champions in the process saying Kyogo's double and Jota's strike wasn't a sign of the Hoops 'winning'.
He posted on Instagram: "The disappointment is real, we lost the game they didn’t win it.
"We continue to stick together and build in the right direction, this is a project and a exciting one. Stick together as one."
Cantwell was booked during the game and involved in a flashpoint or two and will face Celtic again at the end of the month.
