Todd Boehly shows true Graham Potter feelings with foul-mouthed rant after Chelsea vs Everton

Todd Boehly offered a simple and brutal analysis of Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Everton on Saturday. The owner, who watched on from the stands of Stamford Bridge once more, had to see his side once more drop points against teams in the bottom half of the league.

The Blues were left frustrated despite scoring twice in a home game for just the second time in a league game since October. Whilst Boehly may have been enthused by a positive and expressive first half in west London the same old issues reared their heads once more.

Chelsea failed to put the game to bed when they were on top, squandering periods of pretty possession without testing Jordan Pickford, and then finding increasingly baffling ways to give away the game.

Everton's set-piece threat was obvious but Abdoulaye Doucoure still managed to nod in for the first equaliser - cancelling out Joao Felix's opener - and Ellis Simms got his first goal for the club after both Kalidou Koulibaly and Kepa Arrizabalaga failed to stop the forward with any conviction.

It left a sour taste in the mouth of supporters hoping to send their European heroes off into the international break with a fourth win in a row but instead they had to settle for a point against relegation battling Toffees. It's not quite the way Boehly will have wished to see his side finish and the co-owner let his feelings be clear at full-time.

In a video posted on Twitter, the LA Dodgers part-owner is quizzed by fans whilst walking away from the ground and offered a blunt assessment. "S*** f****** game," he said.

It comes just days after Potter himself got a little carried away by the emotions of things when describing how Chelsea were trying to win the Champions League. This was slightly different though but is equally understandable. Since taking over in May, Chelsea have won just 10 of the 19 games played at Stamford Bridge. Even worse, they have drawn 2-2 three times in that run, including Boehly's first match present.

Boehly's attention may well now be split between watching the Blues and also the Dodgers in the coming weeks as the MLB season gets underway at the end of March. The international break allows him time to do just that and to get the latest disappointing result of the season out of the way.
