Todd Boehly suggested Raheem Sterling can usher in a trophy-laden era at Chelsea as he welcomed the "serial winner" to Stamford Bridge.
Sterling, 27, joined the Blues on a five-year contract on Wednesday for a fee which could rise to £50million. He arrives in West London after a hugely-successful seven years with Manchester City during which he won 10 major honours, including four Premier League titles and the FA Cup.
The former Liverpool prospect is the first signing of Boehly's tenure as Chelsea chairman and co-controlling owner, marking a statement of intent from the new regime in charge at the Bridge. The American tycoon gave Sterling a warm reception and hailed him as a "world-class talent" - something which is hard dispute given the England winger's track record in front of goal.
