Chelsea have been dealt a major injury blow after Armando Broja was stretchered off against Aston Villa. The Blues were 1-0 down when Broja contested a ball in the Villa penalty area, but immediately fell to the ground and remained down for several minutes.
Graham Potter must solve the problem facing Chelsea's attackers when the Premier League resumes on Boxing Day, with Broja now sidelined and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang struggling for form in front of goal. The Blues are still facing somewhat of an injury crisis with N'Golo Kante, Reece James, Wesley Fofana and Ben Chilwell all unavailable for Potter at present, whilst Trevoh Chalobah was replaced having initially been listed in the starting XI.
Todd Boehly is set to back Potter in the January transfer window with new signings after spending close to £300million over the summer. The American owner was spotted in dialogue with the Blues boss and Behdad Eghbali after the 1-0 defeat against Villa in Abu Dhabi, potentially discussing transfer plans.
