TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley have been sentenced to a combined total of 19 years behind bars.
Best known for their Chrisley Knows Best, the pair has been found guilty of conspiracy to defraud banks out of more than 30 million dollars in fraudulent loans.
They were also found guilty of tax crimes, according to the U.S. attorney's office.
Reports say that they were found guilty of fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy to defraud the United States by a federal jury in Atlanta in June.
They have now been sentenced in federal court, with Todd getting 12 years in jail and Julie getting seven years. Both were sentenced to several months of probation.
According to NBC, their accountant was also found guilty of tax fraud for filing false corporate tax returns on their behalf.
Julie was further found guilty of wire fraud and obstruction of justice. The TV double act were accused of submitting false documents to request bank loans.
They allegedly used a production company to hide income from the IRS, all while 'flaunting their lavish lifestyle on TV'.
"The Chrisleys have built an empire based on the lie that their wealth came from dedication and hard work," prosecutors wrote, as reported by NBC.
"The jury’s unanimous verdict sets the record straight: Todd and Julie Chrisley are career swindlers who have made a living by jumping from one fraud scheme to another, lying to banks, stiffing vendors, and evading taxes at every corner."
Lawyers for Julie asked that she be given a lesser sentence with a "combination of probation, restitution and community service" in order for her to still be able to care for her children and her mum, the New York Times reported.
Chrisley Knows Best began in 2014 and followed real estate tycoon Todd and his family as they went about their lives. It ran for nine seasons, with a tenth run yet to air.
Three years ago a spin-off entitled Growing Up Chrisley was launched, which focused on the couple's oldest son and daughter, Chase and Savannah. There was also a third show, entitled Love Limo, in the pipeline.
However, with Todd and Julie - who also share a 16-year-old son named Grayson - sentenced to prison terms, the future of the programmes is currently unclear.
Deadline reported that both shows are thought to have been axed, although there hasn't been an official cancellation announcement as of yet.
