Toby Carvery and Harvester launch 50% off deal for this week only - how to get it

Toby Carvery and Harvester fans who are in need of a mid-week pick-me-up can get 50% off main meals from now until Thursday (June 30).

The deal is valid for a table with up to six people - but to get the offer, you need to redeem a special code.

The first way of doing this is by downloading the Toby Carvery or Harvester app, which are both free to download.

Once you’ve done this, on the home screen on each app there is a section that says "enter promo code".

Type in "TREAT" and the voucher should then be sent to your app wallet.

Some customers who are already signed up to the Toby Carvery and Harvester mailing lists say they’ve also been emailed a unique code to use for the offer.

If you've received an email, you'll simply need to tell the cashier that you've got a discount code to use before you're seated at your table.

The voucher is only valid on adult main meals.

A mid-week carvery at Toby Carvery usually costs £7.99 but with the voucher code, you can get it half price for just £3.99 each.

You can’t use the discount code against drinks, takeaway, breakfast, kids' meals, king size upgrade, set menus, buffets, brunch, delivery through third party partners, small plates or sharing boards.

Both Toby Carvery and Harvester are owned by Mitchell and Butlers.

In a message to customers, the restaurant chains said: "Mondays done right. Especially when it's half price.

"We've 50% off mains until Thursday 30th June! Download our app, and enter code TREAT to redeem."

Fans were quick to react to the news, with one person saying: "Brill and it’s payday. Booking a table!!"

Another cheekily said: "On my way..."

A third commented: "That looks so delicious."

And a fourth asked: "Will be coming in for dinner this afternoon."

Earlier this month, Harvester came under fire after it confirmed a huge change to its all-you-can-eat salad bar was being made permanent.

One of Harvester fans' favourite perks of the restaurant was that if they ordered a meal they could help themselves to several different salads.

But since the Covid-19 pandemic customers have had to queue to be served by staff.

Harvester fans took to social media recently to pipe up about the change. One said: "I'm boycotting Harvester until I can serve my own salad.

"Far too much for my anxiety having to ask someone to do it for me!"
