The Tennessee Titans won’t have seventh-round pick and wide receiver Colton Dowell in Week 18 and quite possibly for the start of next season after he reportedly suffered a serious knee injury in Week 17.
According to Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky, Dowell, who exited the game against the Houston Texans in the third quarter and did not return, suffered a torn ACL and meniscus.
Depending on how quickly he can recover, Dowell is now in danger of missing the start of the 2024 campaign, although it’s not like he was going to be depended on for a major role, anyway.
The rookie wideout played sparingly during his first season, with most of his snaps coming on special teams. In his 51 offensive snaps, Dowell tallied just one catch for three yards, which came in Week 16.

Nevertheless, it’s an unfortunate situation for the rookie wide receiver going into the offseason. We wish him a speedy recovery.
