The Tennessee Titans have multiple restricted free agents to sort through ahead of the new league year beginning on Wednesday, and the team has decided not to place a tender on yet another receiver.
According Terry McCormick of Titan Insider, Tennessee will not be placing a tender on wide receiver Cody Hollister, which means he’s free to sign with any team as of 4 p.m. ET on the fifth.
Of course, it’s possible Tennessee can still bring Hollister back for less than the $2.6 million tender they could’ve placed on him, but with the Titans revamping their receiving corps., there’s a good chance he won’t be back.
Hollister is the second restricted free-agent wide receiver who the Titans have declined to place a tender on, with the other being Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.
Tennessee has decided to place a second-round tender on Teair Tart, leaving Aaron Brewer as the last of the restricted free-agent group for the Titans to make a decision on.
