The Tennessee Titans were among several teams at the Ole Miss Pro Day on Wednesday, with offensive coordinator Todd Downing on hand to watch quarterback and 2022 NFL draft prospect Matt Corral throw.
And, from all accounts, he did well.
Corral is just the latest quarterback the Titans have gotten a closer look at, as they attended the pro days of Liberty’s Malik Willis and Pittsburgh’s Kenny Pickett in recent days.
Corral injured his ankle in the Rebels’ Sugar Bowl loss in January, and he didn’t participate in the Senior Bowl or the NFL Combine, so many teams were getting their first look at the Ventura, California native.
While the 2022 NFL draft class doesn’t appear to be as quarterback-heavy as previous years, the Titans could potentially find Ryan Tannehill’s eventual successor next month.
At 6-foot-2, 212 pounds, the Ole Miss product doesn’t have a huge frame, but he puts some good zip on the ball.
Matt Corral’s last deep throw for his pro day. He also did a few on rollouts and boots too. Strong reviews from a few coaches, scouts I talked with after. Replay of Corral’s pro day @nflnetwork 8 pm ET.

Corral accumulated nearly 8,300 yards passing and 57 touchdowns in four seasons on campus. In 2021, he completed 67.9 percent of his passes for 3,349 yards to go along with an impressive 20-to-5 touchdown-to-interception ratio.
As a dual-threat quarterback, Corral also racked up 614 rushing yards on 152 attempts and 11 scores last year.
He’s consistently been mocked in the late first round, with the Titans selecting him with the No. 26 overall pick in a recent mock draft.
If Tennessee elects to address other positional needs in the first round when April 29 rolls around, they could look at other quarterbacks in the middle rounds.
