The Tennessee Titans dropped their sixth straight contest after losing to the Dallas Cowboys on “Thursday Night Football” by a score of 27-13.
This result isn’t surprising considering the fact that the Titans were missing a whopping 15 starters from their opening-day roster, including their starting quarterback.
Truthfully, this contest was much closer for most of the game than the scoreboard indicates, but in the end, the inevitable result most people predicted became a reality as the Cowboys’ starters were too much to overcome for a shorthanded Titans team.
The majority of Titans Twitter wasn’t as emotionally distraught as you would imagine considering the unique circumstances at hand.
Nonetheless, there were still several opinionated people who weren’t shy about throwing blame around to various parties, while others chose the optimistic approach.
Also, despite all the recent turmoil, the Titans will have the chance to clinch their third-straight division championship next weekend with a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
If they don’t, they’ll likely get a draft pick ranging from 9-11 as a consolation prize. With all that said, let’s dive right into this week’s Twitter reactions.
Idgaf if it’s a screen, pass downfield, an end-around. etc., the #Titans better go out swinging with Treylon Burks being heavily involved next weekend.

Proud of the effort from the Titans tonight, down roughly 15 starters and an unfriendly whistle. Hopefully the Titans can get some defensive starters back and Dobbs can make enough plays with Henry back to go win the division next week.

All I care about is next week!

I’m so excited for next week, tonight’s game gave me hope (I had hope) but a lot more now. If we can get a few people back, clean up the penalties, & Dobbs will only get better we have a great chance. I forever love my team though 💙

Gimme Dobbs against the Jags. Has to be said.

I like what I saw from Josh Dobbs tonight.
Give us 10 more days of rest.
See y’all in Jacksonville on January 8th.
Most likely on Sunday Night Football.#TitanUp⚔️ #Titans

Nice effort. Josh Dobbs brought a little life. But result was the same for sixth game in a row: #Titans lost. Now 7-9, assured of first losing season since 2015's 3-13.
Week 18 at Jacksonville is for AFC South crown and right to host a playoff game. Hard to feel good about it. pic.twitter.com/7mJl6xMDE6

6 game losing streak…UGH

Not going to blame the entire game on flags because it’s more than that. However, that roughing the passer call in favor of the Cowboys was a KILLER call. Not to mention the no calls when Dobbs was hit the exact same way.#Titans | #NFL

The #Titans are now 0-7 this season against teams who currently have a winning record.

Titans have pulled the “starters” which is hilarious given the lineup they fielded tonight.

Without 98,96,48 the Titans held the Cowboys to 87 yards rushing

Dennis Daley is UNBELIEVABLY bad at football

Turnover on downs. #Titans fans head for the exit at Nissan Stadium

It is crazy how awful Dennis Daley is

Biggest difference between Dobbs and Malik is Dobbs gets the ball out quickly
— Jimmy Morris (@jmorrisMCM) December 30, 2022
Regardless of the outcome, I'm very intrigued to see what Josh Dobbs can do once he’s complemented by Derrick Henry and the real/fresh #Titans defense.
