The Tennessee Titans are set to play in their first home game of the 2023 season when they host the Los Angeles Chargers in a battle between two teams that are seeking their first win of the year.
While all of the focus is rightly on the on-field matchup this Sunday, the Titans are quietly on the verge of hitting a historical franchise milestone.
Buy Titans TicketsWith one touchdown in Week 2, the team will have reached 1,000 total touchdowns scored since the franchise moved to Nashville in 1999.
Including playoffs, Tennessee currently sits at a combined 999 touchdowns and 8,794 points scored in Titans history, according to the team’s official website.
Obviously, many of us would’ve preferred for them to reach that mark last weekend, but it will be a nice feat to accomplish in front of the home crowd if/when the Titans finally find the end zone on Sunday afternoon.
Tennessee and Los Angeles will kick off from Nissan Stadium at noon CT.
