A few days after the Tennessee Titans made their re-signing of kicker Randy Bullock official, we’re getting a look at the two-year deal the veteran signed to remain in Nashville.
Bullock is actually getting a nice raise. His two-year contract is worth $4.68 million plus incentives, with $2.32 million guaranteed and an annual average coming in at $2.34 million. Bullock made $1.075 million in 2021.
His 2022 cap hit is $1.9 million, and then $2.7 million in 2023, but the Titans can get out of his deal rather easily next year with just a $600,000 dead cap charge, so there’s really no commitment to Bullock beyond 2022.
Bullock’s annual average ($2.34 million) and 2022 cap hit ($1.9 million) both rank 24th among kickers, so while it might seem like a bit much as compared to his 2021 salary, the 32-year-old is barely in the top 25 of the highest-paid players at his position.
Bullock stepped up big for the Titans in 2021. After an injury to Sam Ficken and the Michael Badgley experiment going horribly wrong, Bullock helped stabilize the position for Tennessee, nailing 83.9 percent of his field goals, which included some clutch kicks, and 93.3 percent of his extra points.
