As we approach the last full month of the regular season, the Tennessee Titans are competing with the Arizona Cardinals to be the league leader in a category that neither team wants to be tops in the NFL in.
A total of 77 different players have recorded playing time for Arizona this year, the most in the NFL. Meanwhile, Tennessee is right behind them in second place with 75 players of their own through 11 games.
Kicker Caleb Shudak and linebacker Andre Smith became the 74th and 75th players to appear in a game for the Titans this season.
It was only a season ago that Tennessee set the NFL record for most players used in a single season. The Titans went on to field 91 different bodies by year’s end.
Cards up to 77 today, Jim!

The teams ability to still rip off 12 wins despite all the injured and players used ultimately played a large role in Mike Vrabel getting AP Coach of the Year honors at the conclusion of the 2021 campaign.
Only time will tell what the Titans’ roster total will be at the end of this season, but it’s a pretty safe assumption that this is one record that this franchise wouldn’t mind conceding by the end of the year.
