VIJAYAWADA: A five-year-old boy was abducted while he was sitting outside the main gate of the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala on Sunday evening. According to Tirumala police, the boy’s parents, who hail from Tiruchanoor, often come to the hill town for day jobs. The wife paints tilaks on pilgrims but the husband has no steady job.
As has been their regular routine, the family came to Tirumala along with their five-year-old son. The couple left the boy near the main gate and went about their job nearby. When they returned, they found their son missing from where they had left him.
