A Tipping Point fan and statistics expert has shared how contestants play the ITV quiz show "all wrong".
The gameshow, hosted by Ben Shephard, features an arcade-style coin machine, and it's been on our screens for more than a decade. Tipping Point pits three contestants against each other, where they must answer general knowledge questions to earn counters.
These are are then dropped into the machine in an attempt to push other counters into the "drop zone", with each counter worth £50.

According to odds and statistical expert Mark Round of Whataretheodds.co.uk there are a few things contestants can do to boost their chances of winning the hefty £10,000 jackpot.
Mark told the ECHO there are mistakes to avoid in order to "win big" on the show. Here are his top tips for each round:
Round One
"Don't dive in if you get a question correct. Wherever possible nominate contestants to go first as around 70% of the bigger drops happen later in the round. If you can keep your counters to use later there is a greater chance of picking up a big drop and piling up the cash. "
Round Two
"Don't be polite, answer if your know the answer. The aim is to get as many questions right as you can in the 30 seconds, so don't be polite and wait for Ben to finish his question, if you know the answer interrupt and get on to the next one.
"You don't want to waste any time if you don't know the answer so be quick to pass. The aim for this round is to be as quick as you can, don't wait if you don't know it."
Round Three
"This is a straight forward general knowledge play. If your opponent looks to have a big lead though and there's no way you'll get to the next round, you might as well go for a mystery counter if one looks easy to get. "
Round Four
"Dropzones 1 and 4 reduce the chances of the Jackpot Counter drifting into another zone so going for these zones gives you a better chance of bagging the £10,000.
"If you manage to get stuck against the wall then this is much better than having the Jackpot Counter being stuck in between different dropzones which can be very difficult to get at. If the Jackpot Counter is against the side you have the additional benefit of using the leverage of the wall to push the Jackpot Counter closer to the dropzone, which gives you a better chance.
"Even disregard the double counters and the mystery prize counters if there is a massively packed drop zone. To stand the best chance of winning you should always go for three points in every category.
"Most of you can make an informed guess and even then there is still a one in three chance of getting the question right. And those three counters will make a massive difference to your chances of bagging the jackpot."
