Tinder stalker jailed for luring men to his ex-partner’s home

  • Asad Hussain, 36, has been jailed for eight years after creating a fake Tinder profile of an ex-partner to lure men to her home, falsely claiming she harboured a 'rape fantasy'.
  • Hussain persuaded 35 men to visit the victim's address, instructing some to force entry, with one man gaining access by smashing a glass panel after forcing open the porch door.
  • The court heard that Hussain's actions were a result of escalating jealousy, possessiveness, and a controlling nature after the victim ended their brief relationship, leading him to harass her and attempt to rekindle contact.
  • The victim described her home, once a safe space, as violated, suffering mental scars, constant fear, and difficulties with sleep and eating, despite miraculously avoiding physical harm from the men.
  • Hussain was convicted of stalking, assault, and failing to disclose an iPad pin, and was also issued a 15-year restraining order against the victim and her daughters, with police highlighting the case's complexity and disturbing nature.
