Dating app Tinder is branching out into the animal kingdom. Sort of. It’s planning a pop-up dating event which hopes to bring single dog lovers together.
Dubbed ‘The Bark & Spark’, it’s happening across a number of (dog friendly) pubs in the UK, including The Dog and Partridge in Didsbury. Tinder is inviting users to use the pub as a first date venue on May 14 and 15.
Then, if you show your profile pic - and it features your dog in it - you’ll be able to claim a free drink to get things going. According to Tinder, app users who appear on their profile pic with their pet experience a 5% increase in matches.
